Our position

Bidex Limiteddoes not currently meet the £36 million annual turnover threshold at which the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a company to publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement. We publish this statement voluntarily because we think it matters, and because logistics supply chains are a sector where this risk is real.

Our supply chain

A significant part of our haulage and delivery capacity is provided through subcontracted carriers and partners rather than a direct employed fleet. That makes due diligence on who we work with a genuine priority, not a box-ticking exercise: we expect the partners we engage to operate lawfully, pay fairly, and treat their own workforce properly.

What we do

• Consider a partner’s standing and practices before engaging them for subcontracted work.
• Encourage anyone — staff, partners, or customers — to raise concerns about labour practices anywhere in our supply chain.
• Review this statement annually, and more thoroughly as the business grows toward the point where formal reporting becomes a legal requirement.
